The Human Resources Department provides strategic employment practices and personnel development to attract, retain, reward, support, and develop the Texas A&M University-San Antonio workforce and promote the university’s mission to build and support a solid foundation for success.

Recognizing that professional development is a life-long process, our mission is to enhance staff and faculty knowledge and skills with a variety of quality professional development opportunities to support A&M San Antonio’s vision to become nationally recognized for student and academic success, embracing all students, especially those from underrepresented communities.
