Students
DSS ensures that students with disabilities have the opportunity to fully participate in their education here at A&M-San Antonio (A&M-SA). Compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 is an institutional commitment. Academic accommodations are provided to mitigate disability-related functional limitations that may impact access to, and full participation in, the educational process here at A&M-SA. Approval and provision of accommodations do not guarantee academic success. Rather, accommodations provide an equal opportunity to demonstrate learning and mastery.
