This year’s fall Choose. Act. Impact. Included over 70 students, staff, and faculty that volunteered at four different San Antonio nonprofit organizations.

Volunteers could choose from Haven for Hope, Clarity Child Guidance Center, Morgan’s Wonderland, and the San Antonio Food Bank’s San Juan Mission Community Farm to volunteer. The Jaguar community was excited for this university tradition to be back to its regularly scheduled format, beginning with the on-campus pep rally with t-shirt pick up and breakfast tacos before taking shuttle busses to their volunteer destinations.

A&M-SA volunteers gave more than 145 hours of service to the community organizations. This ranged from preparing the land to harvest food for the San Antonio Food Bank’s Mission San Juan Community Farm, painting dorms at Haven for Hope, washing windows at Clarity Child Guidance Center, and helping with the landscaping at Morgan’s Wonderland.

Stay tuned for the Spring 2022 date!
