Meet The Team

	Reed Vesey	Reed Vesey is the Director of Assessment and Communications for the Division of Student Affairs. In his role with Student Affairs Communications, Reed assists the organization and direction of strategic initiatives and supports the newsletter, monthly updates, impact reports, and other core publications. More direct contributions are made by directing, creating, and updating various websites and web-based initiatives. Additionally, support is provided to Student Affairs Communications by representing the Division on university-wide committees and task forces, including Strategic Planning, Website Revision, Social Media, and others. Reed liaises with multiple university departments, including Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Communications, Information Technology Services.
	Caylee Nicole Tijerina	Caylee Tijerina is a Communication Specialist for Student Affairs. A proud Texas A&M University-San Antonio alum and first-generation graduate, she uses her writing, photography, and social media marketing training to create student-centric content. Her contributions to Student Affairs can be found in newsletters, divisional messaging, press releases, impact reports, and various written publications. Through her experience growing up as a child of a military parent, she has developed a passion for working with military connect students and advocates for their holistic development. With her experience working with military-connected, LGBTQIA+, first-generation, and Hispanic students, Caylee proudly brings her CliftonStrengths in Individualization when taking on new campaigns, doing photography, or working one-on-one mentoring students in various fields.
	Dee Garcia	Dee Garcia is a Communications Specialist for Student Affairs. Her passion for video editing as a child led her to pursue a career in Communications. Dee graduated from Texas A&M University-San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. During her undergraduate studies, she engaged with the campus community as, Supervisor for General the Jaguar, Multimedia Producer for the Mesquite, and Senior Producer for Enlace News. She can create, edit, and execute content through social media marketing and videography/video editing. Dee uses her CliftonStrengths in Positivity on our campus as she is always willing to help and come to work with a smile.
