About YOUR orientation

It’s time to meet your new University community! Orientation is an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the University and meet your future classmates. Campus offices and departments will come together to welcome you and share important information to ensure you have a great start to your Jaguar experience.

First-Year students can choose from in-person or virtual orientation options for Fall 2022.

What YOU will learn

At New Student Orientation, you will learn about campus expectations and the helpful student resources available to you! Additionally, you will meet your academic advisor, register for classes and understand how to pay for college.

Why YOU should attend

By attending orientation, you will put yourself in the best position to kick off your Jaguar experience! You will get answers to any questions that you may have and get to know your new University family!

How YOU can reserve your spot

Remember! You must have a Reading, Writing, and Math TSI score on file to sign up for your orientation date. If you still need to take your tests schedule your time here.

When you’re ready to reserve your spot:

1. Log in to your JagWire account
2. Click "Orientation Sign-up" under "New Student Resources"
3. Complete the pre-orientation online module
4. Select your on campus or virtual orientation & indicate your interest in living on-campus.

About YOUR orientation

Before you can register for classes, you must complete orientation. This two-hour online course will introduce you to the A&M-San Antonio family and will provide useful information prior to starting your journey as a Jaguar.

Complete YOUR Orientation modules

Transfer Orientation is 100% online and can be completed whenever you want! No need to select a specific date or time. You’ll want to set aside a couple of hours to sit down and immerse yourself in the orientation modules.

What YOU will learn

During online orientation, you will learn about campus, student expectations, and the helpful resources available to you! Transfer students are not required to meet with an advisor before registering for classes, but it is highly encouraged and orientation will teach you how to schedule these meetings.

Why YOU should complete

Completing Orientation is mandatory for all transfer students before you can register for classes. Meeting with an academic advisor before registering for classes is highly encouraged, but it is not required. During Orientation, you’ll learn how to schedule a meeting with your advisor.

How YOU can reserve your spot

1. Log into JagWire (call Information Technology Services at 210.784.4357 for login help)
2. Click "Orientation Sign-up" under "New Student Resources"
3. Complete the modules in its entirety
