About YOUR Orientation
It's time to meet your new University community! Orientation is an excellent opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with the University and meet your future classmates. Campus offices and departments will come together to welcome you and share important information to ensure you have a great start to your Jaguar experience. -
Pick YOUR Orientation Date
First-Year students can choose from in-person or virtual options for Fall 2023, and there are a variety of dates available. -
What YOU Will Learn
At NSO, you will learn about campus expectations and the helpful student resources available to you! Additionally, you will meet your academic advisor, register for classes and understand how to pay for college. -
Why YOU Should Attend
By attending orientation, you will put yourself in the best position to kick off your Jaguar experience! You will get answers to any questions that you may have and get to know your new University family! -
How YOU Can Reserve Your Spot
Remember! You must have a Reading, Writing, and Math TSI score on file in order to sign up for your orientation date. If you still need to take your tests, schedule your test time using the button below. When you are ready to reserve your spot: 1) Log in to your JagWire account, 2) Click "Orientation Sign-Up" under "New Student Resources", 3) Complete the pre-orientation online module, 4) Select your on campus or virtual orientation & indicate your interest in living on campus. A fee will automatically be added to your student account for New Student Orientation. -
Your Family Is Invited, Too!
As you sign-up for New Student Orientation, don't forget to invite your family! Your mom, dad, aunts, uncles, "tios y tias," brothers, sisters, cousins, "primos y primas," and friends can take part in a special orientation just for them! The Jaguar Family Orientation program provides helpful resources and tools to help your family and friends assist you in your new Jaguar Journey!
