AD&D

You may choose Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage on an employee only plan or on an employee and family plan. Coverage for an employee pays a benefit if the employee were to have certain injuries as the result of an accident and pays a benefit to the designated beneficiary if the employee were to pass away from the injuries. On the family plan, AD&D coverage pays the employee a benefit if a covered dependent has passed or has certain injuries as the result of an accident. If you choose family coverage, all of your eligible dependents are automatically covered. The plan pays benefits for certain losses and partial benefits for other losses or injury.
