Our campus is designed with inclusivity and representation in mind. Our architecture and landscape are reflective of the cultural heritage of San Antonio and South Texas and we have made efforts to reflect that heritage in the art and interior design within our buildings. As our campus community continues to grow and diversify, we must remain thoughtful and deliberate in our approach to maintaining a campus aesthetic that is inclusive and represents the diverse cultures, histories, experiences and points of view that converge in the University community.

This committee will help ensure that the A&M-San Antonio campus is both an environment that is aesthetically pleasing and cohesive, and a place which reflects the vibrancy of our community and in which all feel a sense of welcome, connectedness and belonging.

This committee serves as an advisory body, evaluating plans and proposals and offering recommendations about how our physical environment can best reflect our values through art, interior design, landscaping, signage, lighting and other visual elements (such as hardscape, monuments/tributes, murals, sculpture, etc.).
