Jessica has a decade of experience in public higher education administration. She joined A&M-SA from the University of California, Davis, where she served as Chief of Staff and Director of Academic Programs in the Division of Undergraduate Education, Manager in Finance, Operations and Administration, and most recently Senior Director in the Division of Continuing and Professional Education. She holds an M.A. in Linguistics from UC Davis and an M.A. and a B.A. in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio. A former longtime Texas resident, Jessica has returned home with her young son, Alexander.

 

Jessica reports directly to President Ochoa and oversees the OOP internal operations, events and budgets. She also serves as a liaison between the President's Cabinet and internal and external stakeholders, and manages the strategic plan reporting and support the Cabinet in implementing cross-campus initiatives.
