Photo of diplomaSAN ANTONIO — Over 500 candidates from Texas A&M University-San Antonio will cross the stage at the Fall Commencement Ceremony at 6 p.m. at the Freeman Coliseum on Tuesday, December 17. The graduating class will celebrate the milestone of becoming the University’s largest fall ceremony to date.

The Honorable Dan Branch, Texas State Representative, will deliver the commencement address. Branch has represented the 108th District since 2002, and has served as the chairman of the House Committee on Higher Education since 2009. Representatives from the Texas A&M University System include Regent Charles W. Schwartz and Vice Chancellor Emeritus Stanton C. Calvert.

Texas A&M-San Antonio takes pride in its commitment as a military embracing university with distinctive military honor cords for active duty military and veteran students, who will be draped with red, white and blue “Patriot” commencement cords for their contributions to the country. Many students will also proudly wear honor cords and stoles signifying academic achievements and involvement with honor societies.
