Vacation
Benefits eligible faculty and staff members appointed on a twelve month basis are entitled to vacation with pay.
Eligible employees may begin to use vacation accruals after six months of continuous state employment.
A part- time employee accrues vacation leave on a proportionate basis.
A full- time employee accrues vacation leave and may carry it forward from one fiscal year to the next in accordance with the Vacation Accrual Schedule.
Sick Leave
A full- time employee accrues eight hours of sick leave for each month of employment. An eligible part- time employee accrues sick leave on a proportionate basis. An employee accrues sick leave beginning on the first day of employment and ending on the employee's last duty day.
