Applying for Admission


Bachelor degree freshman

1. Complete an International Admissions Application  

  • Money Order of non-refundable Application fee of $64.00 is required.

2. Provide Official Transcripts

3. English Proficiency, and SAT/ACT Scores Requirements

Exams codes for A&M-San Antonio are as follows:

4. Possess the equivalent of a 2.0 out of a 4.0 grade point average for admission consideration.

5. Evidence of Meningitis Immunization

  • If the student is 22 years or less of age is required to submit evidence of vaccination against bacterial meningitis.
Bachelor Degree Transfer

1. Complete an International Admissions Application   

  • Money Order of non-refundable Application fee of $50.00 is required.

2.  Provide Official Transcripts

3. Possess the equivalent of a 2.0 out of a 4.0 grade point average for admission consideration.

  • Note: Students may require additional documents or test scores that need to be submitted for admission purposes. Therefore, check with the Office of International Affairs.

Texas Success Initiative Exam 

All international students are required to take the TSI exam. More information is available at TSI Exam.
Masters Degree

1. Complete an International Admissions Application 

  • Money Order of non-refundable Application fee of $69.00 is required.

2. Provide U.S. Official Transcripts

  • Submit the original transcripts from all of the universities that you had attended in the U.S.
  • If your transcripts are not from a U.S. school, your transcripts must be evaluated by a Credential Evaluation Service.  
  • Do NOT submit a foreign transcript; we ONLY need the foreign credential evaluation.
  •  For more information on how to submit your transcript via  GradCAS.

Exams codes for A&M-San Antonio are as follows :

  • TOEFL 6712, GRE 6712, GMAT 7B7-9D-05, MAT 3031.

  • Currently waiving GRE/ GMAT/ MAT testing requirement until Fall 2022

1. If you are on an F-1 student visa status, you will need the following:

  • Proof of Financial Resources in (English) verifying an equivalent of:
    • $44,039 in U.S. Dollars – Undergraduate students
    • $36,247 in U.S. Dollars – Graduate students
    • $46,075 in U.S. Dollars - 11 Month MBA

2. Transfer-in Form

  • Complete this form only if you are transferring from another U.S. school. Please click here

3. Must provide copies of all the immigration documents-(Including dependents if applicable)

  • Passport (valid 6 months into the future)
  • Visa Stamp
  • I-94 (original or electronic copy)
  • A copy of all I-20 Forms that issued to you since you have entered to the United States. (for transfer student in U.S. only)

International applicants may be considered for conditional admission, except students on an F-1 visa.

According to U.S. Department of Homeland Security that govern the F-1 student visa, F-1 students are NOT eligible for conditional admission.

  • The provisional issuance of Forms I-20 is a violation of 8 CFR 214.3(k). According to that regulation. A designated school official may not issue a Form I-20 until the appropriate school authority has determined that the prospective student's qualifications meet all standards for admission at the school which has accepted the prospective student for enrollment in a full course of study."
  • Freshman (Bachelor Degree Programs)

    Spring Semester:

    Summer Term:

    • Priority Deadline: April 1
    • Final Application Deadline: April 30

    Fall Semester:

    • Priority Deadline: January 15
