President's Leadership Class Application

Application Process

During the spring semester, graduating high school seniors, incoming first-year students can apply to be part of the President's Leadership Class (PLC). Applications for the incoming Fall 2023 cohort are coming soon! Our application is housed within the JagSync portal. If you are having trouble logging into the JagSync portal, please contact the Office of Student Involvement at (210) 784-1329.

The application looks at three main areas: Academics, Leadership, and Character. 

  1. Academics: High school transcript, ACT or SAT scores, and top 15% in graduating class. 
  2. Leadership: Leadership experiences, volunteer work, honor & awards, and work experience.
  3. Character: Integrity, honesty, and commitment to yourself, the university, and the broader community.

Interviews March 20 - April 6, 2023
Final Selection Notifications April 21, 2023
Final Student Decision Submitted May 5, 2023
