What is the application process?

Applying to TLA is a two-step process. You will need to complete some information about yourself and your school and answer two essay questions. Be prepared to answer the following two questions

1) Tell us about a leadership role you have held, what skills you learned from the experience, and how you will apply those skills as a participant in the Transformational Leadership Academy. Remember that leadership role can happen in class, through extracurricular activities, at home, or within the community—100 words minimum, 150 words maximum.

2) What are your long-term goals? How do you think participation in the Transformational Leadership Academy will help you achieve them? 125-word minimum, 250 words maximum.

The second step is a video interview question. Seventy students will be notified by email that they need to record a 2-3 minute video answering an interview question. From those 70, we will select the 50 TLA participants.
