Institutional Review Board (IRB) Scheduled Meeting Dates


As a general rule, meetings will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month, unless otherwise indicated.

Protocols that must undergo full board review must be submitted at least one month in advance as indicated below. To minimize revisions and resubmissions, investigators are encouraged to schedule a meeting with the IRB office to discuss their study prior to protocol submission.

Investigators may be invited to present their full board study at the IRB meeting. If you would like to attend a meeting when your study is being discussed, please notify the IRB Research Administrator Blanca Cuellar in advance of the meeting date by email at irb@tamusa.edu.

The IRB is excited to offer OFFICE HOURS for research compliance consultations with individuals and groups. Office hours will be by appointment every Friday beginning July 29, 2022 from 12-2 pm and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. The initial contact meeting will be 30 minutes long. Please bring your specific questions, concerns or discuss your projects with us. We are here to help you with your research!
